Khampa Caravan Tibetan Area Rugs
This rug is a master piece of warmth and color in soft toned primary colors against a background of beige. The center is made up of diagonal, multi colored squares that are decorated with a colored cross motif, borrowed from Eastern Tibet’s textile tradition. The diagonally placed squares and crosses are used again to accent the border. This rug recalls the open road of Tibet’s Tea and Horse Caravans. The vibrancy of color and design, typify much of what is most appreciated in fine Tibetan Rugs. This rug is made from long fibred Tibetan wool that is soft to the touch, wonderful to walk on and highly durable for a lifetime of wear. Handcrafted by master weavers, this all wool Tibetan Rug was designed by InnerAsia Rugs and hand woven by craftsmen in Tibet. Available in Beige, Coral, Pastel
